How To Get Here

Whistler Blackcomb is located 60 km north of Squamish, British Columbia and approximately 2 hours drive from Vancouver.

For athletes traveling via airplane, connecting into Vancouver International Airport will be the easiest option (Seattle Airport is approx. 5 hrs from Vancouver). Depending on timing of your flights, various methods of getting to Whistler will work. It’s possible but tricky to do the trip without renting a car.

The Canada Line SkyTrain connects YVR Airport with downtown Vancouver (Waterfront Station).

Several shuttle services exist to go from Waterfront Station to Whistler:

We do not currently have an accommodation partner but lodging can be found at:

It is possible to stay in Squamish but keep in mind that it is a 1hr drive to the race venue. This is not ideal for an early start on race day. We will be uploading from Blackcomb Base on race day and we recommend staying in accommodation near the hill. If you are driving, we recommend parking in the morning in Blackcomb Parking Lots 6, 7, or 8. From these lots, you can ski down to the brand new Blackcomb Gondola right in front of Merlin’s Pub (note: this is different from the old Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola that starts at Base II, take a look at Whistler Blackcomp Trail map).
